I created this site myself, and maintain it myself, but I owe a lot of thanks to a number of people, organizations, and programs (and therefore programmers), who taught me enough about HTML and web design in less than two months to put up this site.

ha ha!

First, I would like to thank all of my sources.

Lately, most of my material has come from the newsgroup alt.humor. There are several major contributors to that newsgroup who I would like to acknowledge:

Mr. Funny Bone International (Mr. FBI) and Cerberus operate daily joke lists on Yahoo! Groups. Click either link to subscribe.

I have also gotten a lot of material from the humor list server of the Piano Technicians Guild. Another primary source I would like to acknowledge is 'The 776 Stupidest Things Ever Said', and its sequels, by Ross and Kathryn Petras, the main source of my quotes. The books are published by Doubleday, and contain many more hilarious, stupid, and just plain scary quotes than I can possibly put on this site.

And of course, I'd like to thank Tripod, home of The Frontier, The Joke Hold, and my other sites.

Tripod

I would also like to mention the HTML editor I currently use, and will probably use for a long time to come. Arachnophilia is a Careware program. Go to the homepage for an explanation of the Careware concept and I'm sure you'll agree that the author has a good handle on life, the universe, and everything. Arachnophilia is a text editor with many versatile toolbars, and a WYSIWYG preview function that works with your browser, letting you navigate your site as if it were online. I've downloaded demos of several expensive editors, and none compare to Arachnophilia.
