Why Linux?

If you work in an office, you probably use a computer. When you go home, you probably use another computer to check your personal e-mail, or to unwind by surfing the Internet or playing games.

Computers have become so ubiquitous that few people think about the operating system that allows them to run the software they use every day. For most people, that operating system is Windows. But an increasing number of home and small business users are migrating to Linux.

The purpose of this site is to answer a few simple questions about Linux: What it is, why you might want to try it, what it can do for your business, what you can do with it, and what you can do for it.
